Where an object cannot be moved, any force exerted upon it is completely counteracted with no effort; rather, any required effort can be summoned with ease by the unmovable body. Christ is the Rock that cannot be moved, the Truth Himself, and eternal life. Pride hated humility; the lie hated the truth; darkness hated the light; death hated life; so they launched a great assault upon Christ and His saints, pouring upon them all of their fury; yet they could not destroy or move Christ, nor in Christ are the saints destroyed, but their spirit endures like the bodiless angels, and their bodies will arise on the Last Day.
